Unknown young man reportedly died by electrocution in Ibadan after attempting to repair or demolish a Bayo Adelabu billboard in the city’s Challenge neighborhood.
According to several eyewitnesses, he was doing something on the billboard that was put up by Chief Bayo Adelabu, OFR, the Accord party candidate for governor of Oyo State, and people were attempting to warn him to stop on the billboard that was closer to an electric pole.
“We have cautioned him that, how much do they give. Suddenly, we saw him shaking, and no one could move closer to him as it is obvious that, he has mistakenly touched the electric wire beside the billboard.”
